{"id":7378,"date":"2019-04-25T19:31:44","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T19:31:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wordpress\/?post_type=product&#038;p=7378"},"modified":"2021-11-24T19:03:07","modified_gmt":"2021-11-24T19:03:07","slug":"ict050","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.elwia.se\/en\/product\/ict050\/","title":{"rendered":"ICT050 &#8211; Contactless In-Cylinder Linear Transducer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ICT050\u00a0Contactless In-Cylinder<b>\u00a0<\/b>Linear Transducer combines the best features associated with LVDTs and potentiometers into one rugged, contactless and highly reliable displacement transducer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working pressure to 500 bar (7,500 psi)<\/li>\n<li>High temperature capability to +200\u00b0C (+392\u00b0F) [Order Code H]<\/li>\n<li>Low temperature capability to -55\u00b0C (-67\u00b0F) [Order Code L]<\/li>\n<li>Small transducer body length to stroke ratio<\/li>\n<li>Infinite resolution<\/li>\n<li>Absolute measurement<\/li>\n<li>Flexible mounting styles<\/li>\n<li>Rugged stainless steel construction<\/li>\n<li>CE approved<\/li>\n<li>Rapid despatch of any option<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With a body diameter of only 5.4mm the ICT050 is the smallest transducer package we offer, and is ideal for installation into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder applications where space is at a premium.<\/p>\n<p>The ICT050 is ideal for use on small-bore actuators and offers a choice of internal or threaded flange mounting configurations (including SAE1926\/2 and ISO6149\/2 compatible thread forms), to suit tie-rod, welded and rear clevis-mounted cylinder types in stroke ranges from 25 to 500mm. Three core configurations also provide the designer the following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SLEEVED CORE &#8211; cylinder rods can be simply machined to accommodate the sleeve. This also gives the option of retro-fitting existing servo-cylinders with an upgrade to ICT technology.<\/li>\n<li>THREADED CORE &#8211; provides the designer with the minimum transducer body size and simplified installation requiring minimal machining.<\/li>\n<li>FORCE FIT CORE &#8211; the core can be pressed into the cylinder rod and is retained by a tolerance ring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With no electrical sliding contacts, the ICT050 has a working life which is almost limitless.<\/p>\n<p>Signal conditioning is carried out\u00a0by separate electronics packages (EICT or EICTM) which can be located up to 10 metres away from the harsh environment in which the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>linear transducer<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>may be required to operate. Operating from 10 to 60Vdc, the electronics modules can provide a wide range of voltage output signals as well as a 4-20mA current output option or digital PWM signal.
